The Moon Tea House
Moving beyond paper loyalty cards
Before Worthify, The Moon Tea House rewarded its customers using paper loyalty cards.
The cards provided a simple way to recognize repeat visits, but they couldn’t give Elise a clear view of the customer base she was building. As The Moon Tea House expanded across Edmonton and Calgary, she needed a program that could connect customer activity across the entire business.
Elise wanted to understand who her customers were, how often they returned and how they engaged with each location—while giving customers one consistent rewards experience wherever they visited.
One program across four locations
Worthify brought The Moon Tea House’s four locations into one connected loyalty program.
Customers can participate in the same program across Gateway in Edmonton and Legacy, Mahogany and Downtown in Calgary. They don’t need to manage a different loyalty relationship at each shop.
For Elise, this means each location contributes to one broader view of the customer base instead of operating as a separate program.
A clearer view of customer loyalty
The Moon Tea House has enrolled 2,373 customers across its four locations, with 1,426 subsequently engaging with the program.
Worthify’s insights give Elise visibility into customer activity across the business, including visit frequency, customer value, return timing and how different customer groups contribute to revenue.
This makes loyalty measurable in a way paper cards never could. Instead of only knowing that a card has been stamped, Elise can see how the customer base behaves across locations and where the strongest customer relationships are forming.
Understanding the customers behind the business
The combined program has recorded an average of 2.6 visits per customer and an average return time of 18 days.
The data also shows the importance of The Moon Tea House’s most committed customers. Its loyal cohort represents 6.9% of recorded customers but contributes 36.6% of recorded revenue.
Across the program, Worthify has recorded $71,031.38 in revenue from returning customers. This represents observed revenue from customers who visited more than once, not revenue attributed solely to Worthify.
One customer relationship—not four separate programs
For The Moon Tea House, replacing paper cards wasn’t simply about making loyalty digital.
It gave customers one program they could use across every location and gave Elise a connected view of the relationships being built throughout the business.
As The Moon Tea House continues to serve customers across Alberta, its rewards program can operate the same way the brand does: as one business, regardless of which location a customer visits.
